Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1571757 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge tube from the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  2. Reposition the EVAP canister purge tube out of the way.

    3. Object Number: 1810743 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connector (7) from the engine wiring harness electrical connector (8).
  4. Remove the fuel injector wiring harness clips from the fuel rail and reposition the wiring harness out of the way.

    5. Object Number: 1581050 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
  6. Remove the MAP sensor and seal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1581050 Size: SH
  1. Lubricate the NEW MAP sensor seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the MAP sensor into the intake manifold.

    3. Object Number: 1810743 Size: SH
  3. Position the fuel injector wiring harness and install the fuel injector wiring harness clips to the fuel rail.
  4. Connect the fuel injector wiring harness electrical connector (7) to the engine wiring harness electrical connector (8).

    5. Object Number: 1571757 Size: SH
  5. Position the EVAP canister purge tube to the intake manifold.
  6. Connect the EVAP canister purge tube to the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
