This PI was superseded to include suggest reprogramming the ECM and TCM with the latest TIS2Web calibrations if they are not present. Please discard PIP3957.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
On rare occasions, a SES light may be experienced with no engine performance concerns due to a P2796 DTC.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If this occurs, inspect the auxiliary transmission fluid pump module (Hybrid Pump Driver) shown below to determine if it is unplugged. If the connector is unplugged, plug it in and evaluate the concern.
Also, ensure that the latest ECM and TCM calibrations from TIS2Web are present. If not, reprogram the ECM and TCM with the latest calibrations from TIS2Web.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
