Preliminary Procedures

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the left headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Replacement.
3. Disconnect the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement.
4. Raise and support the vehicle as necessary. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

A/C Discharge Line

Procedure

1. Ensure to cap all HVAC line/hose connections immediately after removal to avoid contamination. Refer to Handling of Refrigerant Lines and Fittings.
2. Remove the discharge line from the clamp mounted on the rear of the cooling fan housing.
3. Rotate the discharge line to gain clearance for removal.
4. Install new sealing washers. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement
