Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1889266 Size: SH
  1. Remove the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side.
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the bank 2 exhaust camshaft position (CMP) sensor (6).

    3. Object Number: 1285243 Size: SH
  3. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
  4. Remove the CMP sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1285243 Size: SH
  1. Install the CMP sensor.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the CMP sensor bolt. Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1889266 Size: SH
  3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the bank 2 exhaust CMP sensor (6).
  4. Install the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side.
