Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the steering column upper trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement.
2. Remove the ignition lock cylinder bulb. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Bulb Replacement.

Theft Deterrent Module Assembly

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2. Program the theft deterrent control module after replacement. Refer to Control Module References.
