Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear side door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
- Remove the rear side door window belt inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
- Remove the rear side door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Remove the rear side door frame appliques. Refer to Rear Door Frame Applique Replacement .
- Lower window to access the window release tab.
- Remove the rear side window run channel bolts and loosen the window run channel.
- Depress the window release tab with a flat-bladed tool.
- Pull the window out of the window regulator guide plate.
- Slide the window down and out of the primary window run channels.
- Remove the window through the door belt opening.
Installation Procedure
- Install the window by sliding the window into the door through the outside door belt opening.
- Install the window into the primary window run channels and position into the regulator guide plate.
- Install the rear side window run channel bolts.
- Install the rear side door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Install the rear side door window belt inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
- Install the rear side door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
- Install the rear side door frame appliques. Refer to Rear Door Frame Applique Replacement .
- Operate the window to inspect the operation.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
