Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the rear seat back cushion finish panel. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Back Cushion Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the rear seat head restraint. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Head Restraint Replacement .
4. Remove the rear seat head restraint guides. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Head Restraint Guide Replacement .
5. Remove the rear seat back recliner handle. Refer to Rear Seat Recliner Handle Replacement .
6. Remove the rear seat back recliner cover. Refer to Rear Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement .
7. Remove the rear seat back cushion outer cover.

Rear Seat Number 2 Back Pivot Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Rear Seat Number 2 Back Cushion Cover

Tip
Disconnect the seat back cushion cover J-channel from the seat back cushion frame.
