Makes 🢒 Suzuki 🢒 2007 🢒 XL-7 FWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.6L 🢒 Oil Filter Adapter Installation

    Object Number: 1829118 Size: SH
  1. Position the left knock sensor to the cylinder block as shown.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the knock sensor bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the knock sensor bolt to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  3. Ensure the knock sensor is oriented with the harness connector positioned down and slightly to the rear of the engine (1).

    4. Object Number: 1829114 Size: SH
  4. Position a NEW oil filter adapter gasket onto the oil filter adapter.

    5. Object Number: 1829112 Size: SH
  5. Place the oil filter adapter into position.

    6. Object Number: 1829110 Size: SH
  6. Install the oil filter adapter bolts. Ensure the longer bolts (1) is installed in the upper rear position.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the oil filter adapter bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

  7. Install a NEW oil filter.
