    Object Number: 1412155 Size: SH
  1. Install a NEW gasket onto the thermostat housing.

    2. Object Number: 1827951 Size: SH
  2. Install the thermostat housing.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1827952 Size: SH
  3. Install the thermostat housing bolts. Ensure to install the short bolts (1) and the long bolt (2) in the proper position.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the thermostat housing bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install a NEW O-ring onto the coolant pipe.

    5. Object Number: 1827948 Size: SH
  5. Install the coolant pipe.

    6. Object Number: 1827947 Size: SH
  6. Install the coolant pipe bolt.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the coolant pipe bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install a NEW gasket and O-ring onto the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.

    8. Object Number: 1827945 Size: SH
  8. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.

    9. Object Number: 1827943 Size: SH
  9. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolts.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
