The electronic brake control module (EBCM) monitors the battery voltage level available for system operation. A low voltage condition prevents the system from operating properly.
The ignition is ON.
This fault will be set if the battery voltage to EBCM is less than 10 volts for 200 msec.
The ABS indicator turns ON until the voltage returns to above 10 volts.
• | The condition for the DTC is no longer present. |
• | The EBCM automatically clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 100 consecutive drive cycles. |

⇒ | If less than 10 volts, test the ground circuit of the EBCM for high resistance. If the circuit test normal, test or replace the EBCM. |
