Operating Conditions: Ignition ON, Engine OFF. Parameter Normal Value: 12.6 Volts | |||
B+ | 0.0 Volts | 24.1 Volts | 12.6 Volts |
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the battery positive (B+) voltage to ensure that the voltage stays within the proper range. Damage to components, and incorrect data may occur when the voltage is out of range. If the ECM detects high battery voltage, then DTC P0563 will set.
• | The engine has been running for 3 minutes. |
• | The vehicle speed is greater than 5 km/h (3.1 mph) |
The ECM detects battery voltage greater than 18.1 volts for 2 seconds.
DTC P0560 is a type C DTC.
DTC P0560 is a type C DTC.
• | This DTC could be set by overcharging with a battery charger or jump starting. |
• | A high voltage DTC in multiple modules indicates a concern in the charging system. |
