Preliminary Procedures Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement. Remove the underhood electrical center/junction block. Refer to Underhood Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement. Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side.
1	Hood Latch Release Cable Tip Disconnect the cable from the hood latch release cable handle before attempting to remove the cable.

Hood Latch Release Cable

Tip
Disconnect the cable from the hood latch release cable handle before attempting to remove the cable.
