Preliminary Procedures Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement.
1	Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Bolt (Qty: 4) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).
2	Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. A new inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil will be equipped with a yellow tab that should be removed after the steering wheel is installed.

Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Bolt (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

Procedure

Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
A new inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil will be equipped with a yellow tab that should be removed after the steering wheel is installed.
