Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 931367 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 926677 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector, if equipped.

    3. Object Number: 931451 Size: SH
  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor electrical connector from the connector bracket.

    4. Object Number: 1844090 Size: SH
  4. Remove the front wheel drive shaft spindle nut.
  5. Remove the speed sensor. Refer to Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement.

    6. Object Number: 1843952 Size: SH
  6. Support the wheel drive shaft with heavy mechanic's wire or equivalent.
  7. Remove and discard the wheel bearing/hub mounting bolts.
  8. Remove the wheel bearing/hub assembly from the steering knuckle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1843952 Size: SH
  1. Install the wheel bearing/hub assembly to the steering knuckle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the wheel bearing/hub mounting bolts and tighten to 130 N·m (96 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 1844090 Size: SH
  3. Install the wheel drive shaft spindle nut and tighten to 205 N·m (151 lb ft).

    4. Object Number: 931451 Size: SH
  4. Install the wheel speed sensor electrical connector to the mounting bracket, if equipped.

    5. Object Number: 926677 Size: SH
  5. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  6. Install the speed sensor. Refer to Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement.

    7. Object Number: 931367 Size: SH
  7. Install the front brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement.
