Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear side door outer belt sealing strip retaining screw at the front edge of the door.
- Remove the rear side door outer belt sealing strip by lifting up on the seal starting at the rear and working forward.
Installation Procedure
- Align the outer belt seal fastener location with the hole in the door structure and outer panel retaining tabs.
- Starting at the rear of the rear side door outer belt sealing strip, push the belt seal down onto the flange until fully seated.
- Install the rear side door outer belt sealing strip retaining screw.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Tighten the screw to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in) .
