Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
Important: The LPG wiring harness is retained with cable
ties.
- Remove the LPG wiring harness retainers (1) from inside the vehicle.
Important: The LPG wiring harness is retained with cable
ties.
- Remove the LPG wiring harness retainers (1) from inside the vehicle.
- Remove the LPG wiring harness earth cable (1) from
the lower bolt (2) of the air conditioning compressor.
Important: The retaining connectors are located near
the bottom of the radiator.
- Remove the LPG wiring harness retaining connectors (1) from inside the engine
bay.
- Remove the LPG fuses (3), relay (1) and diagnostic
connector (2).
- Remove the LPG wiring harness power cable (1) retaining
nut (2).
- Remove the wiring harness from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Position the LPG wiring harness in the vehicle.
- Install the LPG wiring harness power cable (1) to
the power source.
- Install the LPG wiring harness power cable (1) retaining nut (2).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to xx N·m (xx lb ft).
- Install the LPG fuses (3), relay (1) and diagnostic
connector (2).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the LPG wiring harness earth cable (1) to the lower bolt (2) on the
air conditioning compressor.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
- Install the LPG wiring harness electrical retaining
connectors (1) to the inside of the engine bay.
Important: Cable tie the LPG wiring harness to the vehicle
wiring harness.
- Install the LPG wiring harness retainers (1) to the inside of the vehicle.
Important: Cable tie the LPG wiring harness to the vehicle
wiring harness.
- Install the LPG wiring harness retainers (1, 2) to inside the vehicle.
- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
