Tools Required

J 23653-SIR Lock Plate Compressor

1. Install the inner race (1).
2. Install the upper bearing inner race seat (2).
3. Install the upper bearing spring (3).
4. Lubricate and Install the turn signal cancel cam assembly (4).
5. Install the shaft lock (5).
6. Install the bearing retainer (6).



7. Seat the bearing retainer using J 23653-SIR .
8. Install the SIR coil assembly. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Assemble - Off Vehicle .
