Did you perform the Power Mirror System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

1. Disconnect the right power mirror connector.
2. Move the mirror select switch to the RIGHT position.
3. Connect a test lamp between the mirror switch connector terminal A and terminal C.
4. Operate the mirror switch to the UP position and the DOWN position.

Does the test lamp light in both positions?

1. Connect a test lamp between the mirror switch connector terminal C and terminal B.
2. Operate the mirror switch to the RIGHT position and the LEFT position.

Does the test lamp light in both positions?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

Replace the right mirror drive unit. Refer to Power Mirror Drive Replacement.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Test the following circuits for an open:

Did you find an open in either of the circuits?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Test the for an open in CKT 881.

Did you find an open in CKT 881?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

Repair the open in the faulty circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the outside mirror switch.

Is the repair complete?
