Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.

  3. Object Number: 384573  Size: SH
  4. Remove the screws (4) from the lower quarter trim panel (3).
  5. Remove the lower quarter trim panel (3).
  6. Grasp the trim panel and pull the trim panel downward in order to disengage the tabs (2) from the retainers (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 384573  Size: SH
  1. Install the lower quarter trim panel.
  2. Align the tabs (2) to the retainers (1) and apply sufficient pressure to the panel until the tabs are fully engaged into the retainers.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screws to the lower quarter trim panel.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13.2 lb in).

  5. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  6. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
