Did you perform the Audible Warning System Check?

Go to Audible Warnings System Check

1. Unbuckle the driver seat belt.
2. Disconnect connector C315B from connector C315.
3. Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 2 of the connector C315B and terminal 1 of connector C315B.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

2 ohms

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 7 of connector C315 and a known good ground.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

2 ohms

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Replace the left seat belt switch. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement - LH in Seat Belts.

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 9

1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit F650.
2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit F650.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 9

--

1. Disconnect the gauge cluster connector.
2. Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 14 of the gauge cluster connector and terminal 8 of connector C315.

Is the resistance reading less than the specified value?

2 ohms

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuits XF20 and/or XF21.
2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuits XF20 and/or XF21.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 9

Replace the gauge cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

--

Go to Step 9

--

1. Connect all connectors and components that were disconnected.
2. Verify that the fasten seat belt warning operates properly.

Does the fasten seat belt warning operate properly?

--

System OK
