1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK or HEAD position.
2. Open the LH front side door.

The lights-on warning activates to remind the driver that the headlamp switch is in the PARK or HEAD position.

Lights On Chime Inoperative

1. Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch.
2. Open the LH front side door.

The key-in warning activates to remind the driver that the ignition key is in the ignition switch.

Key-in-Ignition Chime Inoperative

1. Close the LH front side door.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

The fasten seat belt warning activates to remind the driver that the seat belt is unfastened.

Fasten Safety Belt Chime Inoperative

1. Before starting the engine, inspect the engine oil level.
2. Start the engine and let it reach its normal operating temperature.

The low engine oil pressure warning system operates properly.

1. Close the LH front side door.
2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch.
3. Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.
4. Open the LH front side door.

The key-in warning does not activate.

1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK or HEAD position.
2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch.
3. Open the LH front side door.

1. The lights-on warning activates to remind the driver that the headlamp switch is in the PARK or HEAD position.
2. The key-in warning activates to remind the driver that the ignition key is in the ignition switch.

1. The lights-on warning does not activate to remind the driver that the headlamp switch is in the PARK or HEAD position.
2. The key-in warning does not activate to remind the driver that the ignition key is in the ignition switch.

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in circuits RM1 and/or RM2. If these circuits are OK, replace the LH front side door jamb switch.
