Check the integrity of PWF Fuse #1.

Is the PWF Fuse #1 open?

  1. Disconnect the LH front side door window switch connector C1.
  2. Use the DMM to measure the voltage between terminal 7 of the LH front side door window switch connector C1 (female) and a known good ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 4

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Use the DMM to measure the voltage between terminal 6 of the LH front side door window switch connector C1 (female) and a known good ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 7

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit A48, A10, or A3.
  2. Repair the open or a high resistance in A48, A10, or A3.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit X2.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit X2.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect the LH front side door window switch connector C1.
  2. Use the DMM to measure voltage, by backprobing between terminal 6 of the RH front side door window switch connector (male) and a known good ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 8

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit B9.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in the circuit B9.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 11

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit B12, B13, or B10.
  2. Repair the open or high resistance in the circuit B12, B13, or B10.
  3. If these circuits are OK, replace the LH front side door window switch. Refer to Window Switch Replacement - Console in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 11

  1. Locate a short to ground in circuit A1, A2, A3, A4, A10, or A48.
  2. Repair the short to ground in A1, A2, A3, A4, A10, or A48.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 11

  1. Connect the disconnected connectors.
  2. Verify that the power windows operate properly.

Do all of the power windows operate properly?
