Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the front seatback cushion cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove the seatback cushion heater element:

    4. Object Number: 246822 Size: SH
    3.1. Cut along the seams on the inside of the seat cover. Do NOT cut through the front side of the seat cover.
    3.2. Cut the heater element electrical wiring.
    3.3. Remove the heater element and the wiring from the seatback cover.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 246819 Size: SH
  1. Install the heating element for the front seatback cushion to the seatback cover.

    2. Object Number: 246817 Size: SH
  2. Install the electrical wiring for the seatback cushion heater element to the original position of the old wiring harness.
  3. Fold over the ends of the new heater element and tape the element to the seatback cover.
  4. Install the front seatback cushion cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .
  5. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
