Backprobe the LH seat belt retractor solenoid connector with a test lamp from cavity A (ORN) to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 3

  1. Backprobe the LH seat belt retractor solenoid connector with a test lamp from cavity A (ORN) to cavity B (TAN).
  2. Open the LH door.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 8

  1. Disconnect the LH seat belt retractor solenoid connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from the LH seat belt retractor solenoid connector cavity A (ORN) to cavity B (TAN).
  3. Backprobe the LH front door lock actuator with a test lamp from cavity A (TAN) to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Backprobe the LH front door lock actuator connector with a test lamp from cavity A (TAN) to cavity D (BLK/WHT).

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the LH front door lock actuator. Refer to Door Lock Actuator Replacement in Doors.

Is the LH front door lock actuator replacement complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1840 (ORN) between S306 and the LH seat belt retractor solenoid. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Replace the LH seat belt retractor solenoid. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Driver or Passenger .

Is the LH seat belt retractor solenoid replacement complete?

Repair the open in CKT 126 (TAN) between the LH seat belt retractor solenoid and the LH front door lock actuator. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in CKT 51 (BLK/WHT) between the LH front door lock actuator and S201. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
