Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 258903 Size: SH
  1. Cycle the glass panel to the vent position.
  2. Remove the glass panel fasteners (1) on either side.

    3. Important: 

       • Do not operate the sunroof without the glass in place. Operating without the glass will break the wind deflector.
       • Do not to scratch the roof surface.

  3. Remove the glass panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 258903 Size: SH
  1. Position the sunroof glass panel into the opening.
  2. Install the glass panel fasteners (1).

    3. Do not tighten the fasteners.

  3. Close the glass panel.
  4. Adjust the sunroof glass panel. Refer to the following procedures:
    5. •  Sunroof Panel Vertical Adjustment
    •  Sunroof Panel Horizontal Adjustment

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Secure the panel with fasteners (1).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 3 N·m (27 lb in).
