DEFINITION: Low beam headlamps are inoperative, high beams are functional.

Were you sent here from the Lighting Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

1. Disconnect connector C209.
2. Connect a fused jumper wire in the harness side connector C209, between terminals W and L.

Do the low beam headlamps illuminate?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

1. Remove one of the low beam headlamp fuses.

•	HDLOBML MiniFuse® #10

•	HDLOBMR MiniFuse® #8

2. Connect a DMM from the fuse terminal B in the underhood electrical center, to the harness side connector C209 terminal L.
3. Measure the resistance of circuit 12.

Is the resistance within the specified values?

0-2 ohms

Go to Step 5

Go to Headlamps Inoperative - One Lamp

Replace the headalamp switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open or high resistance in circuit 12.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 6

--

1. Clear any DTCs which may have set. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Clearing .
2. Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
