Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 445132 Size: SH
  1. Remove the trim panel insert from the door (front door only). Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Insert Replacement .
  2. Remove the door handle bezel. Refer to Door Handle Bezel Replacement .
  3. Remove the window regulator handle, if equipped. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement .
  4. Remove the power window switch, if equipped. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement or Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
  5. Remove the door handle plug (3), pry off with a flat bladed tool.
  6. Remove the door trim handle screws (2).
  7. Remove the door trim panel (1) from the retainers (4). Start at the bottom rear corner and gently pry outward.
  8. Remove the door trim panel (1).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the door trim panel (1).

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the door trim handle screws (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the door handle plug (3). Ensure that the unit is retained.
  4. Install the power window regulator handle, if equipped. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement or Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the power window switch, if equipped. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement or Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
  6. Install the door handle bezel. Refer to Door Handle Bezel Replacement .
  7. Install the trim panel insert to the front door. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Insert Replacement .
