Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front license plate bracket, if equipped. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Remove the front bumper valance panel, if equipped. Refer to Front Bumper Valance Panel Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 441351 Size: SH
  4. Remove the front bumper upper fascia screw (2) from each side of the fascia (1).

    5. Object Number: 441348 Size: SH
  5. Remove the front bumper lower fascia screw (2) from each side of the fascia (1).

    6. Object Number: 441349 Size: SH
  6. Remove 2 screws (2) that secure the front bumper fascia bracket (1) to the fascia.

    7. Object Number: 441355 Size: SH
  7. Loosen the front bumper impact bar bolt (1) from each side of the fascia (2).

    8. Object Number: 441354 Size: SH
  8. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
    9. • The 2 bolts (2) that secure the front bumper fascia
    • The front bumper fascia (1)

  9. Remove the following components from the front bumper fascia, if necessary:
    10. • The 5 screws (2) that secure the front bumper impact bar
    • The front bumper impact bar (1)

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front bumper impact bar (1) to the front bumper fascia, if removed. Secure the impact bar with 5 screws (2).

    2. Object Number: 441354 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the front bumper fascia (1) to the vehicle. Secure the fascia with 2 mounting bolts (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the front bumper fascia mounting bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  3. Tighten the front bumper impact bar bolt (1) at each side of the fascia (2).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the front bumper impact bar bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install 2 screws (2) that secure the front bumper fascia bracket (1) to the fascia.

    5. Object Number: 441348 Size: SH
  5. Install the front bumper lower fascia screw (2) to each side of the fascia (1).

    6. Object Number: 441351 Size: SH
  6. Install the front bumper upper fascia screw (2) to each side of the fascia (1).
  7. Install the front bumper valance panel, if equipped. Refer to Front Bumper Valance Panel Replacement .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Install the front license plate bracket, if equipped. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .
