Front Side Door Window Replacement 4 Door

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 352113  Size: MH
  1. Remove the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Pull the front door water deflector (2) from the front door in order to gain access to the screws that retain the front door window.

  3. Object Number: 352166  Size: SH
  4. Remove the 2 screws (1) that retain the front door window.

  5. Object Number: 352136  Size: MH
  6. Remove the front door window from the door.
  7. Remove the front door window (1) from the lower sash (6).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 352172  Size: SH
  1. Coat the lower sash (2) with soapy water in order to ease the installation of the front door window (1) into the lower sash (2).
  2. Install the front door window (1) to the lower sash (2). Align the window (1) in the lower sash (2). Verify that the distance from the rear screw of the lower sash (2) to the rear edge of the window (1) is 269.5-273.5 mm (10.61-10.76 in).

  3. Object Number: 352173  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Important: Do not overtighten the front door window screws.

  4. Install the front door window to the front door. Secure the window with the 2 screws (1).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the front door window screws to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  6. Set the screws so that the measurements between the front door window (2) and the front door window channels (1) are equal at the points that are indicated by the 2 sets of arrows.
  7. Inspect the window for the correct front-to-rear position and for the correct left-to-right position. Adjust the window if necessary.
  8. Apply adhesive to the back of the front door water deflector.
  9. Place the water deflector in the normal position.
  10. Install the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

Front Side Door Window Replacement 2 Door

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 352113  Size: MH
  1. Remove the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Pull the front door water deflector (2) from the front door in order to gain access to the screws that retain the front door window.

  3. Object Number: 352166  Size: SH
  4. Remove the 2 screws (1) that retain the front door window.

  5. Object Number: 352136  Size: MH
  6. Remove the front door window (1) from the door.
  7. Remove the front door window (1) from the lower sash (6).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 352168  Size: SH
  1. Coat the lower sash (2) with soapy water in order to ease the installation of the front door window (1) into the lower sash (2).
  2. Install the window (1) to the lower sash (2). Align the window (1) in the lower sash (2). The distance from the lower sash (2) rear screw to the rear edge of the window (1) should be 262-266 mm (10.32-10.47 in).

  7. Inspect the window for the correct front to rear position. Inspect the window for the correct left to right position. Adjust the window as necessary.
  8. Apply adhesive to the back of the front door water deflector.
  9. Place the water deflector in the normal position.
  10. Install the front side door trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
