  1. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  2. Set the heater-A/C control to the VENT position.
  3. Set the blower switch to the OFF position.

The blower motor is off.

Refer to Blower Motor Always On .

Turn the blower motor switch to the following positions:

    • LO
    • M1
    • M2
    • HI

The blower motor operates at increasingly faster speeds.

The blower motor exhibits one or more of the following conditions:

    • The blower motor is inoperative in any position. Refer to Blower Motor Inoperative at Any Speed .
    • The blower motor is inoperative in the HI position. Refer to Blower Motor High Speed Inoperative .
    • The blower motor is inoperative in the LO position. Refer to Blower Motor Low Speed Inoperative .
    • The blower motor is inoperative in the M1 position. Refer to Blower Motor Inoperative Med-1 .
    • The blower motor is inoperative in the M2 position. Refer to Blower Motor Inoperative Med-2 .
    • The blower motor is inoperative in the HI position. Refer to Blower Motor High Speed Inoperative .
