For 1990-2009 cars only
The hydraulic brake system requires flushing for the following concerns:
| • | If there is any doubt as to the grade of fluid in the system |
| • | If fluid has been used which contains the slightest trace of petroleum or mineral based fluids |
All rubber parts, including the brake hoses, that have been exposed to petroleum contaminated fluid must be replaced.
In order to flush the system use the steps in the brake bleeding procedure. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
