  1. Disconnect the P/B Booster Vacuum Switch.
  2. Connect a fused jumper between cavity A and B.

Does the P/B Booster Vacuum Pump operate?

  1. Inspect the P/B Booster Vacuum Canister for a restriction that would maintain vacuum within the canister.
  2. If the canister is OK, replace the P/B Booster Vacuum Switch.

Did you complete the repair?

Check CKT 50 (BLK) wire for continuity to ground.

Does CKT 50 (BLK) wire have continuity to ground?

Go to Step 6

Locate and repair open CKT 50 (BLK) wire.

Did you complete the repair?

Inspect ENG-1 fuse for open.

Is ENG-1 fuse open?

  1. Locate and repair short to ground in CKT 239 (PNK) wire.
  2. If the wire is OK, replace the P/B Booster Vacuum Pump.

Did you complete the repair?

  1. Disconnect the P/B Booster Vacuum Pump.
  2. Turn ignition ON.
  3. Check CKT 239 (PNK) wire for voltage.

Is voltage present?

Battery voltage

Locate and repair open in CKT 239 (PNK) wire.

Did you complete the repair?

Check CKT 950 (BLK) wire for continuity.

Does CKT 950 (BLK) wire have continuity?

Replace P/B Booster Vacuum Pump.

Locate and repair open in CKT 950 (BLK) wire.
