Front Side Door Jamb Switch Replacement 2-Door

1. Remove the screw which secures the front seat belt trim bezel.
2. Remove the front seat belt trim bezel.
3. Pull the rear quarter interior trim panel from the vehicle by disengaging the plastic clips.
4. Remove the 4 screws which secure the rear speaker.
5. Pull the rear speaker from the body.
6. Disconnect the rear speaker electrical connector.
7. Remove the rear speaker from the vehicle.



8. Disconnect the front door jamb switch (1) electrical connector.
9. Remove the front door jamb switch (1) rubber cap (2) from the switch.
10. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to gently pry the front door jamb switch (1) from the body.
11. Remove the switch (1) from the vehicle.

1. Install the front door jamb switch (1) to the vehicle by pressing the front door jamb switch (1) into place.
2. Install the front door jamb switch (1) rubber cap (2) to the front door jamb switch (1).
3. Connect the front door jamb switch (1) electrical connector.
4. Connect the rear speaker electrical connector.
5. Install the rear speaker to the body. Secure the rear speaker with the 4 screws.
6. Install the rear quarter interior trim panel to the vehicle. Ensure that all plastic clips are fully engaged.
7. Install the front seat belt trim bezel to the vehicle. Secure the bezel with the screw.

Front Side Door Jamb Switch Replacement 4-Door

1. Remove the screw which secures the front seat belt trim bezel.
2. Remove the front seat belt trim bezel.
3. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.



4. Disconnect the front door jamb switch (1) electrical connector.
5. Remove the front door jamb switch (1) rubber cap (2) from the switch.
6. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to gently pry the front door jamb switch (1) away from the body.
7. Remove the switch (1) from the vehicle.

1. Install the front door jamb switch (1) to the vehicle.
2. Install the front door jamb switch (1) rubber cap (2) to the switch.
3. Connect the front door jamb switch (1) electrical connector.
4. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Install the front seat belt trim bezel to the vehicle. Secure the bezel with the screw.
