Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 352467 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the front wiper arms (4) from the vehicle. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement .
  3. Remove the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.

  4. Remove the 2 bolts and the bulkhead center cover (2), exposing the wiper linkage.

  5. Remove the 4 retaining nuts (1) which secure the front wiper linkage to the bulkhead (2).
  6. Remove the wiper motor. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement .

  7. Remove the front wiper linkage mounting nut (2) from the interior side of the bulkhead (1).
  8. Slide the front wiper linkage through the front wiper motor opening.

Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the front wiper linkage through the front wiper motor opening.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the 4 retaining nuts that secure the front wiper linkage to the bulkhead.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining nuts to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  3. Attach the front wiper linkage mounting nut (2) to the interior side of the bulkhead.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the wiper linkage retaining nut to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the front wiper motor. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement .
  5. Install the bulkhead center cover (2). Secure the bulkhead center cover with the 2 bolts.
  6. Install the air inlet grille. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  7. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  8. Install the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  9. Connect the washer hose (2) to the front washer nozzle (1).
