Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear wiper
arm. Refer to
Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement

- Remove the rear wiper motor. Refer to
Rear Window Wiper Motor Replacement
.
- Remove the rear wiper pivot assembly cap (4), the nut,
the washer and the gasket from the rear wiper pivot assembly (7).
- Slide the rear wiper linkage and the rear wiper pivot assembly
out of the rear door.
- Gently pry the rear wiper linkage from the rear wiper pivot assembly.
Installation Procedure
- Install the rear wiper linkage to the rear wiper pivot assembly.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the rear
wiper pivot assembly, with the rear wiper linkage, to the rear door. Secure
the rear wiper pivot assembly to the rear door with the gasket, the
washer and the nut.
Tighten
Tighten the rear wiper pivot assembly nut to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
- Install the rear wiper
pivot assembly cap (4) to the pivot assembly (7).

- Install the rear wiper arm. Refer to
