Removal Procedure
- Remove the radio from the instrument panel. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Attach a piece of mechanics wire to the antenna cable in order to aid in the removal and installation of the cable through the windshield side pillar and instrument panel.
- Remove the antenna mast screws.
- Remove the antenna mast from the vehicle by guiding the mechanics wire attached to the antenna cable (2) through the windshield side pillar (1).
- Remove the mechanics wire from the antenna cable.
- Leave the mechanics wire in the windshield side pillar in order to aid in the antenna installation procedure.
Installation Procedure
- Install the mechanics wire to the antenna cable.
- Guide the antenna cable and mast (1) through the windshield side pillar (2) with the aid of the mechanics wire.
- Install the antenna mast screws.
- Remove the mechanics wire from the antenna cable.
- Install the radio to the instrument panel. Refer to Radio Replacement .
