Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 351604 Size: LH
  1. Remove the respective side rear seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
  2. Remove the respective side rear seatback cover. Refer to Seat Back Cover Replacement - Left Rear or Seat Back Cover Replacement - Right Rear .
  3. Remove the 2 rear seat frame hinge bolts.
  4. Remove the rear seat frame hinge from the rear seatback frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 351604 Size: LH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the rear seat frame hinge to the rear seat frame. Secure the rear seat frame hinge with the 2 mounting bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat frame hinge mounting bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  2. Install the respective side rear seatback cover. Refer to Seat Back Cover Replacement - Left Rear or Seat Back Cover Replacement - Right Rear .
  3. Install the respective side rear seatback. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
