Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement.
  2. Remove the fuel injection pump drive pulley. Refer to Fuel Injection Pump Drive Pulley Removal.

    3. Object Number: 2027529 Size: SH

    Note: Mark the bolts because of different length.

  3. Remove the 4 timing belt rear cover bolts (2).
  4. Remove the timing belt rear cover (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2027529 Size: SH
  1. Install the timing belt rear cover (1).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 4 timing belt rear cover bolts (2) and tighten to  11 N·m (98 lb in).
  3. Install the fuel injection pump drive pulley. Refer to Fuel Injection Pump Drive Pulley Installation.
  4. Install the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement.
