Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1256796 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the rear bumper fascia extension, if equipped. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement.
  3. Remove the rear wheel mud guards. Refer to Rear Mud Flap Guard Replacement .
  4. Remove the fascia bolts at the top of the rear wheel wells.

  5. Remove the lower fascia screws.

    6. Object Number: 1256801 Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear combination lamps. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .
  7. Remove the luggage compartment wheelhouse trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Remove the fascia bolts in the luggage compartment.
  9. Remove the upper fascia screws.
  10. Remove the fascia.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256801 Size: SH
  1. Install the fascia.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the upper fascia screws.
  3. Install the luggage compartment fascia bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the luggage compartment fascia bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the rear combination lamps. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .

  5. Install the luggage compartment wheelhouse trim panel. Refer to Cargo Area Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Install the lower fascia screws.

    7. Object Number: 1256796 Size: SH
  7. Install the rear wheel well fascia bolts.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the rear wheel well fascia bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the rear wheel mud guards. Refer to Rear Mud Flap Guard Replacement .
  9. Install the rear bumper fascia extension, if removed. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement.
  10. Install the rear wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
