Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector in order to access the window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  3. Remove the window assembly. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 279024 Size: MH
  4. Remove the window regulator bolts (3).
  5. Remove the window regulator rivets (2).
  6. Remove the window regulator (5).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 279024 Size: MH
  1. Install the window regulator (5).
  2. Install the window regulator rivets (2).

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the window regulator bolts (3).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts (3) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the window regulator nuts (4).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts (4) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the window assembly. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
  6. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
