Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear door inner trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 164505 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rivet mounting the door handle.

    4. Use a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) drill bit to drill out the rivet.

  4. Pull the rods from the anti rattle clip.

    5. Object Number: 164522 Size: SH
  5. Remove the rods from the door handle.
  6. Remove the handle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 164522 Size: SH
  1. Insert the rods into the handle.

    2. Secure the rods with the clips.


    Object Number: 164505 Size: SH
  2. Install the door handle tabs into the slots in the door.
  3. Rivet the door handle to the door.
  4. Snap the rods to the anti rattle clip.
  5. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  6. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
