Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 735353  Size: SH
  1. Remove the power seat adjuster. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Replacement .
  2. Remove the power seat adjuster actuator motor bracket to seat adjuster nut.
  3. Remove the drive cables. Refer to Seat Horizontal and Vertical Drive Cable Replacement .
  4. Remove the electrical connectors from the motors.
  5. Remove the power seat adjuster actuator motor assembly from the seat adjuster.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power seat adjuster actuator motor assembly to the seat adjuster.
  2. Install the drive cables. Refer to Seat Horizontal and Vertical Drive Cable Replacement .
  3. Install the electrical connectors to the motors.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the power seat adjuster actuator motor bracket to seat adjuster nut.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the power seat adjuster actuator nut to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the power seat adjuster. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Replacement .
