J 38778 Trim Pad Remover

1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
2. Use J 38778 to remove each seat back from the center pivot bracket.

Remove the rear fold down seat backs from the seat frame.

3. Remove the seat back strikers. Refer to Rear Folding Seat Back Latch Striker Replacement .



4. Remove the J-hook retainers from both seat back bolsters.



5. Remove the bolster trim covers to expose the foam pads.
6. Remove the foam pads (1) from the frame (2) .



7. Remove the staples from the trim covering on the seat back frame.



8. Pull down the hook and loop retainers (2).
9. Remove the frame trim cover and the bolster covers from the seat frame.

1. Position the bolster covers and the frame cover on the seat back frame.
2. Install the bolster foam pads (1).



3. Install the bolster trim covers and connect the J-hooks.



4. Install the frame trim hook and loop retainers (2).
5. Install the staples to the trim covering on the seat back frame.
6. Install the seat back strikers. Refer to Rear Folding Seat Back Latch Striker Replacement .
7. Install the fold down seat backs on the seat back frame.
8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
