Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 352186  Size: MH
  1. Remove the rear side door trim. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector (2) from the rear door.

  3. Object Number: 352189  Size: MH
  4. Lower the rear door window (3) completely.
  5. Gently pry and remove the rear door rear filler from the door.
  6. Remove the 3 screws and the rear door rear molding (1).
  7. Remove the 3 screws and the rear door front molding from the door.
  8. Unclip the outer sealing strip (7) from the door.
  9. Loosen the upper edge of the weather strip along the upper edge of the window channel.

  11. Remove the 2 screws (3) that retain the rear door window.
  12. Remove the rear door window from the door.

  14. Remove the rear door window (3) from the lower channel (6).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 352189  Size: MH
  1. Coat the lower sash of the rear door window (6) with soapy water in order to ease the installation of the rear door window (3) to the lower sash (6).
  2. Install the rear door window (3) to the lower sash (6).
  3. Install the rear door window (3) to the rear door.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Important: Do not overtighten the rear door window screws.

  5. Secure the window with the 2 screws (3).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the rear door window screws to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  7. Inspect the rear door window for the correct front-to-rear position and for the correct left-to-right position. Adjust the window if necessary.
  8. Install the outer sealing strip (7) to the door.
  9. Install the rear door front molding to the door. Secure the molding with the 3 screws.
  10. Install the rear door rear molding (1) to the door. Secure the molding with the 3 screws.
  11. Install the rear door rear filler.

  13. Apply adhesive to the back of the rear door water deflector (2).
  14. Install the rear door water deflector (2) to the door.
  15. Install the rear side door trim. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
