- Inspect the power windows circuit breaker.
- If only the left front power window switch operates the windows,
ensure that the lockout switch is not engaged.
- Verify that ground G301 is clean and tight.
- If a motor's internal circuit breaker trips, the circuit breaker
will not reset until voltage is removed from the motor.
- On Coupe only, if the RF or RR power window does not operate from
the RF or RR window switch, but operates normally from the LF or LR power
window switch, inspect CKT 141 for an open. If OK, replace the RF or
RR power window switch. Refer to
Front Door Switch Replacement
in Doors.
- On Sedan only, if the RF or RR power window does not operate from
the RF or RR window switch, but operates normally from the LF or LR power
window switch, inspect CKT 1307 for an open. If OK, replace the RF
or RR power window switch. Refer to
Front Door Switch Replacement
in Doors.
- Inspect for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the
insulation.
A broken wire inside of the insulation may cause a system failure but
prove good in a continuity/voltage test.
- Inspect for proper installation of the aftermarket electronic
equipment.
Improper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment affects the
integrity of other systems.
