Front Seat Back Replacement With Seat Back Board

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2021998 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.
  2. Remove the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement.
  3. Remove the seat adjuster track covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement.
  4. Remove the bolts (2) from the seat back assembly (1).
  5. Remove seat back assembly (1) from the seat adjuster.
  6. Remove the seat back trim panel, if necessary. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2021998 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat back trim panel, if removed. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement.
  2. Install the seat back assembly (1) to the seat adjuster.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the bolts (2) to the seat back assembly (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts (2) to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).

  4. Install the seat adjuster track covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement.
  5. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement.
  6. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.
