B+ is supplied to the engine mount solenoid. When in drive the electronic brake control module (EBCM) monitors engine RPM on the serial data circuit and activates the engine mount vacuum solenoid when engine speed is below 1200 RPM to reduce engine vibration.
Engine running.
• | Short to ground or an open/high resistance on the B+ circuit. |
• | Open/high resistance on the control circuit. |
• | Calibration is not programmed in the EBCM |
Deactivates the engine mount vacuum tank solenoid
When the conditions for setting the DTC is no longer present.

⇒ | If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal and the B+ circuit fuse is open, test or replace the engine mount vacuum tank solenoid. |
⇒ | If the test lamp is always ON, test the control circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the EBCM. |
⇒ | If not within the specified range, replace the engine mount vacuum tank solenoid. |
