Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear 60/40 Split Bench
Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear seat. Refer to
Rear Seat Replacement
in Seats.
- Remove the recliner trim cover. Refer to
Rear Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement
in Seats
- Remove the rear seat riser. Refer to
Rear Seat Riser Replacement
in Seats.
- Unhook the seat cushion cover retainers from the seat frame.
- Remove the bolts securing
the buckle side belts from the seat cushion frame.
- Remove the buckle side
belts (1) from the seat.
- Remove the bolt securing the mini-buckle (2) from the 60 percent
seat cushion frame.
Installation Procedure
- Install the bolt securing
the mini-buckle (2) to the 60 percent seat cushion frame.
- Install the buckle side belts (1) to the seat.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the mini-buckle bolt to 53 N·m (39 lb
ft).
- Install the bolts securing
the buckle side belts (1) to the seat cushion frame.
Tighten
Tighten the rear seat buckle belt bolts to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).
- Hook the seat cushion cover retainers to the seat frame.
- Install the rear seat riser. Refer to
Rear Seat Riser Replacement
in Seats.
- Install the recliner trim cover. Refer to
Rear Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement
in Seats
- Install the rear seat. Refer to
Rear Seat Replacement
in Seats.
Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear 50/50 Split Bench
Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear seat. Refer to

- Remove recliner trim cover. Refer to
Rear Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement

- Remove the rear seat riser. Refer to
Rear Seat Riser Replacement
in Seats.
- Unhook the seat cushion
cover retainers (1) from the bottom of the seat frame.
- Remove the bolts securing the center buckle belts from the seat
cushion frame.
- Remove the center buckle belts from the seat.
Installation Procedure
- Install the center buckle
belts to the seat.

- Remove the rear seat. Refer to

Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear Full Bench
Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear seat. Refer to

- Remove the recliner trim cover. Refer to

- Remove the rear seat riser. Refer to

- Unhook the seat cushion
cover retainers (2) from the seat frame.
- Remove the bolts (3) securing the belts from the seat cushion
frame.
- Remove the center belts (1) from the seat.
Installation Procedure
- Install the center belts
(1) to the seat.
