Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement In Seats.
2. Remove the back body pillar trim. Refer to Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
3. Remove the body side upper trim panel. Refer to Body Side Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .



4. Remove the cup holder from the rear quarter trim.
5. Remove the rear accessory panel (for left side quarter panel). Refer to Rear Accessory Panel Replacement .
6. Remove the seat belt retractor retainer bolt. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
7. Remove the upper cargo net retainers. Refer to Cargo Net Replacement in Body Rear End.
8. Remove the liftgate sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .



9. Remove the rear quarter trim panel retainers using J 38778 .
10. Remove the rear quarter trim panel from the vehicle.

1. Install rear quarter trim panel to vehicle.
2. Install the rear quarter trim retainers by aligning the retainer with the holes and then pushing the retainers to secure.
3. Install the upper cargo net retainers. Refer to Cargo Net Replacement in Body Rear End.
4. Install the liftgate sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement .
5. Install the seat belt retractor retaining bolt. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
6. Install the rear accessory panel (for left side quarter panel). Refer to Rear Accessory Panel Replacement .



7. Install the cup holder to the rear quarter trim.
8. Install the body side upper trim panel. Refer to Body Side Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
9. Install the back body pillar trim. Refer to Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
10. Install the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement In Seats.
