Removal Procedure
Important: All of the radios are not interchangeable. If the same radio is no to
be reinstalled, use a scan tool to determine the existing radio type for replacement.
Some of the replacement radios will require the replacement of the antenna
extension cable. Refer to

- Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to
Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement
in Instrument
Panel, Gauges and Console.
- Depress the spring clip retainers at the sides of the radio.
- Pull the radio straight out in order to remove the radio.
- Disconnect the antenna extension cable if applicable.
Installation Procedure
- If the antenna extension cable is not attached to the radio cavity,
install the cable to the radio.
- Insert the radio into
the radio cavity in the instrument panel.
- Ensure that the spring clips are fully engaged.
- Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to
